Bible Society/YFC videos with self written notes – review by Becky Lawrence, Youth & Childrens worker, St Marks MK

During lockdown after sending my young people one of these Good News Bibles I decided to make use of them and some of the 30 linked videos online by Bible society & YFC, to put together some online youth sessions. The themes of the videos are titles like ‘Connection with God:Prayer’, ‘How was the Bible put together’, ‘Why believe in God?’, and ‘Suffering’.
My youth group are school year 7 to year 12 which is a broad mix of ages and stages of faith, Bible basics was a great topic for them, to help them get to grips with what the Bible is and how it can be used. I wrote notes and discussion questions to go with each video that I chose to use and we delivered this on Zoom. It worked really well and encouraged some great deep questions about God and faith from my young people.
