Connect Cards, 52 ways to connect with God by Becky Lawrence

Connect Cards – 52 ways to connect with God – Review by Becky Lawrence, Youth and Childrens Worker at St Marks MK

We’ve recently published a new resource as a church, a little box containing 52 cards with different creative ways to inspire connection with God.  These are suitable for use with youth, adults, families or children.  We wanted the ideas on these cards to be accessible to those who might be early on in their faith journey as well as those who might have been Christians for a while.  The language and tasks are purposefully simple to make it easy to find ways in everyday life to connect with God and notice him at work in us, around us and through us.  We hope some of the ideas might become favourites and adopted into peoples lives as rythms and habits.

We gifted a set to each of our youth, families and adults as a christmas gift to promote discipleship at home, with a view to starting them as an at home activity from January onwards for throughout 2021.  We’ve had feedback already that our kids, youth and adults are excited to use them.

You can use these as an at home discipleship resource where a different card can be selected as an idea to do each week or everyday, or use them with a youth group/ small group and get a different member to pick one for everyone in the group to do as a challenge.

You can soon buy these for yourself or your group for £5.50 a set (ex. postage) which includes 52 thick beautifully printed double sided business sized cards each containing a different idea to connect with God and a durable plastic storage box with lid.  They will be on the St Marks MK website shop soon – in the meantime if you are interested in buying any please get in touch.
