So What Next?

So, What Next? Is a Scripture Union resource, produced in collaboration with New Wine Luminosity. Written in contemporary, jargon-free language, So, What Next? is designed to help young people who have responded to Jesus, explore faith more deeply and understand what it means to be a Christian. Inside you’ll find:

• 15 Bible-based explorations of who God is, who they are and who they are becoming in following Jesus
• A glossary of common phrases we use as Christians
• How to find things in the Bible and How to talk to, and hear from, God.

Using short Bible reflections from the books of Psalms, Romans and Matthew So, What Next? covers the topics of: Who is God? Who am I? and Who am I becoming? Common questions that children and young people ask as they delve deeper into what it means to live for Jesus.

The booklet can be used by Christians of any denomination who are helping young people with or without church connections to explore faith, including through an after-school or holiday club or youth group; at a Christian festival, event or residential; at confirmation or baptism classes.

I think this would be a great resource for a small group with a leader exploring the first steps of faith for a church group, whether the group has youth who have made a faith commitment or are still exploring. Combining the bible explorations together can create 6-7 weeks of youth group material.
