We had Curious Berries creator Lara on our Podcast last year. I loved hearing all about her inspiring story – an acccountant by day and mum to two boys – but called to set up a side project creating Christian books, and christian content resources for kids – especially featuring characters that looked like her son, after failing to find any Christian books that featured black or mixed race children. The heart behind it is for all kids to see themselves represented and for durable products which engage kids to learn more about God. Curious Berries is a faith-based brand creating Christian books, Bible cards, and educational toys designed to help children explore God’s love. Founded by a mother seeking relatable resources for her son, she originally wrote a book, this has turned into a whole collection of resources and products which she keeps creating in collaboration with her two sons.
