Judah Sketch Bible animations for kids/youth/families
This one is a recommendation from one of you guys – a kids worker in one of our networks. Hope some of you may find it useful too.
Looking for some decent quality clips or full movies to use to engage children, young people or all ages? Judahsketch have got your back. They have a whole collection of beautifully made shorts
and feature films which capture Bible stories in a way that brings them to life. They utilize AI animation and story-generation tools to create engaging, vibrant content designed to educate, inspire, and entertain audiences. Topics covered include stories of Queen Esther, Abraham, the Prodigal Son, Samuel, Moses, Parable of the Talents and the birth of Jesus, and loads more. What is unique about these videos, (that you’ll see in the stills we included on this page) is that they mostly feature people of colour which is great for the medium of Christian videos which especially in the past has tended to focus on white respresentation only. We tend to forget Jesus and the other people in the Bible were from the middle east and would have had dark tanned skin – not been white and they wouldn’t have spoken english or had English or American accents either!
You could use these videos in family ministry, Sunday schools/kids church, and children’s ministries, as well as recommend them at home for families.
My only niggle is that some of them are a bit wordy, use complicated vocabulary, and don’t communicate in an easily accessible way for use in kids work – and I think would struggle to effectively engage young kids. But if you pick wisely there is content there that would work better for kids work or for kids audiences – including potential use at home for kids bed time stories – instead of using other secular Youtube videos or books. You could use these in kids work or family ministry to bring the Bible to life and help engage your group in the story in a creative way. You could also sit and watch a longer one of their films as a kids or younger youth group social activity.

They have a big library of videos on YouTube, where they have built a following with consistent, high-quality animation. This also means their videos are accessible for free.
