FaithinKids is not just one resource but a treasure trove of a website with a family podcast, training and resources for christian kids work, toddlers and family ministry.  There is a whole heap of good content there, which will save you time and energy instead of creating your own from scratch.  Especially toddler content which can be a niche area of ministry for christian content and quite hard to find decent stuff to use.  We really recommend Faith in Kids as a ministry and a great place to look for good quality christian content resources.  They have a team of staff who are creating and testing and using the material and are adding to the collection.

Resources currently include a 12 week toddler series on ‘Who is Jesus’, as well as one called ‘Looking to God – mental wellbeing in the Psalms for kids’, plus All age talks, ‘The Easter Story Brick by Brick for kids’ – with a lego theme, as well as resources for Family Bible time, Assemblies, groups and clubs content, and family community event ideas.

There are at least 14 resource packs for sunday school/kids church which explore the Bible in creative engaging ways.  Some of these have been adapted as well as all age talks or as family ministry time content.  There are 4 different holiday club resources in the groups and clubs section.  There are 14 different topics for use in mums & tots/ toddler groups.   There are also 3 online sessions for equipping christian parents, carers and grandparents – ‘Raising Confident Kids in a Confused World’.

Community event ideas include a Dangerous Camp for lads and dads, A Weekend of Wonder for Easter and an Easter Amble.   Best thing about all of these is that they are downloadable and accessible for free. You can of course make a donation to the charity – which as a charity ourselves we recommend!
