Printable Nativity Escape Room for 8-15 year olds review by Becky Lawrence

 

Escape rooms and related crack the code activities have been growing in popularity in recent years, with more and more cropping up all over the place.  People of all ages love to crack puzzles and it can be a great fun activity to do as a group or in teams.  This recommended resource is for an affordable nativity themed escape room activity.

Designed for use with age 8 to 15, this resource can be used with individuals playing on their own or teams of multiple ages as a family activity or in a kids or youth group.  It takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete depending on age and experience level.  The resource is downloadable straight after purchase which means you can print as many copies as you need or email it round to use as an at home or online activity.  Each download includes teacher/leader/parent instructions, youth/kids/player instructions, 4 mysteries and final challenge, 4 decoders, printable prizes, and answer key.  We haven’t used this yet but it looks like a great fun resource to engage small teams of youth/kids/families or mixed ages.

 

In order to “escape”, players must solve the 4 mysteries and complete the final challenge.
This will require reading, answering questions, and solving puzzles using the decoders in the time allowed.
