What we do
From our own experience we know it can be both tough and time consuming to find, write or choose resources for youth and children’s work. To make this easier we post a regular recommended resource to our library of tried and tested published and self written ideas, games and resources. Our whole library is chock full of recommendations from children’s and youth leaders who have used them. The aim is to keep adding to the list which is fully searchable by category and keyword. If you live local to where we’re based in Milton Keynes you can also arrange to borrow any resource we have a hard copy of.
If you’ve recently used a great resource, game or activity and would be willing to write a review contact us here.

Free Youth & Children’s Work Support, Advice & Consultancy
Our aim is to encourage and strengthen existing youth and children’s ministry and add to it by inspiring and cultivating opportunities for new work with the 95% of children and youth not yet connected to churches. If you want to start something new or need some fresh ideas for some youth or kids work you run already – get in touch – if we can help you we will!
Depending where you are this support will be either online or in person.
"It is such a challenging time for churches to be working with young people so the vision of Youthwork+ to resource, equip and support local youth and children's leaders is vital. Having known Becky Lawrence since she was a young person herself (!) I have seen first-hand her commitment and passion for young people as well connecting others working with young people in her local community."
- Dr Mark Scanlan, Lead Undergraduate Tutor, Tutor and Lecturer in Theology and Youth Ministry, St Mellitus College
Youth & Children’s Work Equipping & Training
We can help equip you or your team with practical skills for youth and kids work. We know some topics and issues can be tricky to tackle and we want to help equip youth and children’s workers to support young people with anything they are going through. By putting on relevant engaging useful training/webinars on things like supporting young people who self harm, sexting & pornography, domestic violence, supporting young people with mental health, how to engage with young people in your community, how to tackle multi generational church and more.
We also put on Day Retreats a couple of times a year for youth/kids leaders to help support, equip and cheer you on in your roles.
If you’d like us to deliver something for your church or charity or if there is a topic you’d really like us to cover in a pop up training session or webinar get in touch.

Youth & Children’s Work Map
Ever wondered what was happening locally in your area for children and young people? Maybe you’ve only got a few children or young people and would love to collaborate with another church who only has a few? Maybe you’d like to know what youth work is already happening near you so you can support them or cheer them on? We want to make it easy for people to find out what is already happening for children and young people to avoid duplication, allow more collaboration and allow signposting to find activities that are local to where new families live. View our map to see a range of youth and kids work that we know about.
If you already run some activities for children or youth please let us know so we can add your church/charity/project to the map.
