Brave youth resources from Youthscape by Becky Lawrence

Brave youth resources from Youthscape by Becky Lawrence, Youth and Kids Worker, St Marks MK & Youthwork+ Founder

There’s a new exciting youth resource coming soon to us from our friends at Youthscape (youth charity based in Luton), it’s called Brave and it’s not just one resource but is a whole online library of free resources (available to download from their website).  There will be a mix of videos and articles all designed to help youth leaders to create bespoke sessions for the young people we work with in whatever context we work in.

The Brave resources are designed to help reflect on the last 18 months of challenges and changes and Youthscape says…”empowering young people to recognise and release their inner strength and capability, building confidence and resilience to help you and them to stand tall against the giants life so often brings up.

Let us tell you about BRAVE. What does it mean to be BRAVE in a world which is unpredictable, complex and often challenging? How do we equip and enable young people to manage the things they find tough so that they can dig deep and grow confident, capable and ready to step into the adult world?

The last 18 months have been tricky – and we know both young people and the people leading and supporting them are heading into this new academic year unsure what the next season will bring.”

It looks like it will be a great set of resources, which will be great for the context our youth currently find themselves in, and we should be able to pick and choose the resources that will work for our groups.

Brave goes live on the Youthscape website on Monday 4th October!
