Intro Outro, YouTube channel for youth review by Becky Lawrence, Founder of Youthwork+ and Kids/youth worker

 

Intro Outro is a Youtube channel for young people full of wholesome entertaining content from Youth for Christ.  The channel was originally setup by Ben Cutting who has been a youthworker in several different charity and church contexts, the content is now created by an array of YFC youth staff.  The videos feature an array of guests, funny challenges, plus encourages young people to think about God and faith in relevant ways.

Young people spend hours on YouTube and a lot of that time is spent watching pointless videos about kittens or people falling over! – content like Intro Outro offers them something good, wholesome and fun that will also make them think about God.  I really recommend this channel as a tool to use with youth.

The channel has been running over 2 years and features over 170 videos aimed at young people.

How to use this with youth – you could feature these videos as icebreakers as an intro to your youth sessions, or you could recommend the channel to the young people you work with and send them a link.  The videos aren’t just aimed at Christians but any young people at any stage of faith to get them to engage with God and faith.
