Shine film series is a set of videos produced by Scripture union Uk & Ireland, Jesus Film and Crown Jesus Ministries. They are designed to make faith conversations possible. Offering relatable and engaging content, with thought provoking and real life stories they encourage honest dialogue about faith making it easier for young people to share their experiences and perspectives in a way that feels natural and accessible.  The videos also feature some visually beautiful locations to aim to engage the veiwer.

Series 1 contains 2 videos about Having Fath Conversations, entitled ‘Why?’ And ‘How?’.

Which are almost 10 mins long. The content helps participants grow in their understanding of God, themselves, and their peers. There is also a free downloadable training guide which has discussionquestions, reflections and activities to do with your youth group that goes with episode 1 and 2.

There are also further episodes and series each one with 3 video episodes and downloadable digital or printable group guides with icebreakers, activities, Bible study and discussion to go with each video episode:

• Friend – We were made for connection—with each other and with God. In this new three-part series, we dive into the power of genuine friendship and explore what the Bible reveals about Jesus as the ultimate model of love and sacrifice.
• Known – In our digital world, everyone wants to be known, but it’s easy to get caught up in a superficial online image. True identity isn’t just about how many likes you get or how famous you are; it’s about being genuinely seen and accepted for who you are. The Bible suggests that this deep need to be truly known and loved comes from God, who knows and values us completely, beyond our appearances or social media personas.
• Happy?– This series challenges us to consider what we’re truly seeking in life and why we often feel unfulfilled. We dive into unexpected sources of joy and discover how a relationship with Jesus can transform our understanding of happiness.
• Influencers – Explore how to confidently share your faith at school and why it’s essential to reach out. Get practical tips and discover creative ways to put your plans into action. Join us to become a true faith influencer and make a positive impact in your school community.

That gives you up to 17 sessions of videos and material to use with your youth group, which will save you loads of time you may have spent creating your own content!
