Shine Your Light Youth resource by SU
Shine Your Light is a new free resource from charity Scripture Union, it’s for Christian or church based youth aged 11 to 18. The resource explores the importance of the peer-to-peer faith sharing approach – young people reaching other young people with the good news of Jesus – and provides you, as a youth leader (or Faith Guide), with some practical ways in which you can explore this approach with young people, independently or in a group, including some things for them to take away. The resource features a 17 page leaders guide containing hints & tips for covering the theme of peer evangelism & activities to use with your young people.
It’s a great resource that can be used to put together a session or multiple sessions for your youth group or content for one to one work with young people to inspire them to talk to their friends about their faith. This is a Halloween edition which is focused on the importance of young people sharing their light and faith in Jesus around Halloween and offering an alternative narrative of light to a time of year & celebration which often celebrates darkness.
